Walking on Sunshine

I love walking to my Music 100 class. If you walk at the right time of day (the morning) the sunlight spills through the holes in the wall. I always imagine that I'm walking on stars or something like that. It is truly the little things like this that make life so interesting. Belive me, when you see it in person it definitely inspires the poet in you.
In any case I thought it was pretty and took a picture for all of you. Hope you enjoy it.

Veteran's Day

I met Sarah and Richard at Hillside park. There was an ROTC competition. The kids from La Habra won. There were tons of people there.

Afterwards we went to chill out at McClain's. I just seemed to notice that both my friends have injuries. Sarah hurt her foot... Richard's arm is in a sling. How fun.

Snow Day, Angels, and Break Dancing

Snow Day
After finishing my exam and getting out of class early, I was pleasantly surprised to find a snow slope in the middle of the quad at my campus. Frankly, I've never lived in snow. Occasionally, I visit the snow, much in the same manner I visit out-of-state relatives: Once every few years you get in your car, drive for a while, and show up where they live. You have a good time, create some memories get in your car and drive home.
So imagine my surprise when I found the snow had come to visit me! ASI had put on the whole thing, free snow... free hot chocolate... and free sledding. Oh, sledding. Talk about bringing back childhood memories. I was bouncing up and down waiting in line. I wasn't the only one excited. There were tons of people just as giddy as me. After going down the slope 10 times, I decided I should probably let other people have a turn. So I left for a little bit but then came back with a friend... for sledding races. I'll admit, I'm a dirty rotten cheater when it comes to races, but I was having a ball.

Angels at CSUF
So walking to the TSU building I noticed something strange in the distance... guys all in white bouncing around on springy stilt things. At a distance I thought it might be some crazy religious gimmick to help convert the masses to salvation. But no, they were just promoting a new Cirque de Soleil show called Corteo. The flyer looked pretty interesting and I've always wanted to see a show like that... but sadly, I'm a poor college student. At least I got some cool pictures.

Break Dancing
After a hard day on the sled slopes I decided to chill at Becker Amphitheater with the DJ and the break dancers. The beats were perfect for just relaxing and the dancers were pretty amazing and flirting with acrobatic. I did notice people walking by doing the "Night at the Roxbury" side head bump. I thought it was pretty hilarious. But maybe that's just me.

Cal State Fullerton in all its splendor

I see some crazy things around the campus of CSUF. Finally I got a new phone with a camera so I can actually document some of the things I see without people questioning my sanity. I have been known to stretch the truth-- but then again some of the best stories have only a smidge of truth in them to begin with. I'm not a journalist, I'll tell you that right now. I'm just a girl trying to make some sense of this crazy, crazy world.
